Education: The Issue That Should, But Won't, Get Discussed

We can keep our fingers crossed that tonight's debate might touch on education issues, which are among the most important the new president will face. Our friends at Mirror of Justice have an important blog post on the subject by Greg Sisk that you can find here.

The debate touched on education and jerked back from it faster than a speeding eraser. The question posed had something to do with the poor state of science and math education in American schools -- what to do to remedy that. Both candidates completely ignored the question and rambled on about fairness and equality, as though educational excellence weren't worth discussing.
